Pros - LOVE this heater. We have a 28 ft Airstream travel trailer and dry camp often. This is an efficient gas heater that will keep you toasty warm in cold weather. We use this in the living area of the trailer only as we sleep with windows open under down comforters in the bedroom. Be sure to buy the right size for your heated area. Be sure to keep it covered to protect from dust so the heating pad doesn't become contaminated. Don't need electricity hookup to run. No drain on batteries. Mounts right on the wall w/o offset requirements.
Cons - Can be difficult to start and slow to get going, but then it puts out the heat once it's going. Smelled first few times it was used but no smell problems afterwards. Buy the installation kit if you want to save extra trips to the hardware store for additional parts. A cover is a must to protect the pad from contamination and they are expensive to replace. We mounted our horizontally on a swing bracket to aim the heat down the hallway. I would recommend mounting it vertically as I feel the hard starting is a function of the horizontal mounting we did.
Again, love this heater and recommend it to anyone who wants to stay warm.
