My old smaller Jiffy steamer stopped working as I was receiving a lot of inventory that needed steaming. I decided to upgrade to the J-4000 Pro-Line. I quickly ordered on Thurs. and to my delighted surprise it arrived the next day!! I call it turbo charged, as it provides a stronger much flow of steam. I would recommend spending a little more and getting this machine.

The Jiffy J-4000 is a solid performer. It is well designed, solidly constructed and performs extremely well. Previously, I had purchased many hand held steamers, many which claimed to be "commercial grade" but they never performed. The J-4000 does what they say it can do. I highly recommend this product. W/o provocation my grandmother asked how did I get my shirts to look so good? She assumed it was the Cleaners. J-4000 is overpriced but certainly gets the job done for those who don't wanna outsource the most simple thing: pressing a shirt (or slacks, etc).

Jiffy Steamer J-4000 Pro-Line Commercial Garment Steamer:: Overview


The heavy duty Model J4000M Commercial garment steamer is equipped with 1500 watts of steaming power. The J4000M is equipped with a 1 gallon self-contained water tank with preheat and steam settings and a 5 foot hose attachment with metal steam head with a wood handle at the end of the hose. This type of hose attachment is more durable, but does get hot around the metal and tends to be heavier than the plastic steam head and handle combination. It also has a sight gauge on the side of the steamer to view water level and sediment build-up at a glance. The J4000M heats up within 15 minutes to preheat temperature and produces steam within 2 minutes once at the preheat temperature.
